Making Games in Unreal Engine 4, No Coding Required!

November 18, 2014 @ 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm

We’ve invited Epic Games to talk about the latest version of their Unreal Engine.

This intermediate/advanced session will show the attendees how to prototype a complete game experience in Unreal Engine 4 entirely from scratch, without writing a single line of code. Using Blueprint, Unreal Engine’s powerful visual scripting system, we will build a game completely from scratch and, time permitting, deploy it to an Android device.

Speaker: Zak Parrish, Developer Relations Technical Artist, Epic Games

Zak Parrish HeadshotZak Parrish has spent more than a decade designing 3D and game development software training materials, including the Unreal Development Kit training series and the “Mastering Unreal Technology” reference volumes, the first of which earned a Best Book Front Line Award. As Epic’s developer relations technical artist, Zak leads the charge in building the foundation for tutorials and documentation covering Unreal Engine 4 technology.
