Game Maker’s Guild: Pre-PAX Networking & Playtesting
March 9, 2017 @ 6:00 pm - 11:30 pm
Sponsored by the MIT Game Lab
RSVP Required
We’re hosting Game Maker’s Guild for their monthly playtest session, and they’re inviting local developers to meet with folks coming in for PAX to playtest each others’ games:
PAX East is in town and it’s time for us board game designers to get together! Bring a prototype or just a critical eye to New England’s largest group of tabletop game developers and playtesters!
The event will take place at MIT’s Stata Center on the 1st floor (Room 124). We’ll do food/social from 6-7:30, then will start playtesting at 7:30. For playtesting, we break out into groups based on number of people needed for each game, and each group typically plays 2-3 games. (Note: The event typically goes until 10, but we have the space until 11:30 if you want to get more playtesting in.)
About the Game Maker’s Guild
The Game Makers Guild is New England’s largest group of indie board game designers. We meet 2-3 times per month to playtest each others’ games, as well as discuss the various aspects of bringing a game to life! Feel free to poke around our site and check us out. If you’re interesting in becoming a member, just come to one of our meetings.
